The Fairways Driving Range was opened in 1993 by Tom and Joan Fair.  The range sits on the former site of the Charles Fair Family farm. Charles  was Tom's Dad.

Tom's dream  was to build a place where the aspiring golfer could come to hone their skills surrounded by folks with the same goals and aspirations. Tom fulfilled his life long dream and his humble legacy lives on at this beautiful facility. The sudden passing of Tom in May of 2000 inspired his family to continue his legacy through hard work and determination.

This driving range serves the community and the aspiring golfer to help lower  his or her handicap through similar conditions you would find at a regulation golf course.

Joan retired from the day to day operation in December 2011. She remains an integral part of it's success will be involved in the annual give back to charity day in the years ahead.. Mrs. Fair invites golfers of all ages and abilities to visit the best kept golf secret on the shoreline.
